Support, resistance, confirmation and invalidation
RelaxView marks key levels, confirmation conditions and invalidation conditions—not just a direction, but what supports the current assessment and when the market should be reassessed.
Where key levels come from
- Price structure: prior highs and lows, horizontal support and resistance, support/resistance flips, trendlines and channel boundaries.
- Model projection: each matched model provides its own reference range and invalidation level.
- Ratio tools: Fibonacci retracements, extensions and multi-timeframe confluence zones.
Confirmation conditions
A retest after breakout, supporting volume, agreement from the higher timeframe—these are the preconditions for an assessment to hold. Until they are met the assessment is still waiting, and RelaxView lists the pending confirmation conditions.
Invalidation conditions
Every assessment has a level below or above which it no longer holds. Invalidation is not failure—it is the signal to reassess the market; writing it next to the assessment means you do not have to rethink it mid-session.
FAQ
Are key levels price predictions?
They are reference levels computed from structure, models and ratio tools; they must be read with confirmation and invalidation conditions and are not standalone entry or exit points.
Do confirmation and invalidation conditions update automatically?
They are re-evaluated with each new candle; confirmed, pending and invalidated states are marked separately.
